He has served in the Central Electricity Authority and Indian Railways in senior management positions of various bodies, including being the Director of Research Design and Standards Organisation of the Ministry of Railways. He has more than two decades of industry experience and more than a decade of teaching and research experience at IIM Calcutta. He has received training in case method of teaching and case development at Harvard Business School and power projects designs at Electricite de France.
